I had a lovely stay at The Herbs Hotel in Hua Hin, with its unique themed rooms and attentive staff. However, the slightly distant location from the bustling nightlife might not be suitable for everyone. Overall, the peaceful atmosphere and boutique feel make it a nice experience.

Rooms

My initial room, "Ginger," had a unique layout but shared shower and toilet space, which wasn't ideal. The upgraded "Plai Thai" room was much more spacious and comfortable, though lacking natural light made it feel a bit gloomy.
Service

The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making my stay feel personally catered to. I loved the little touch of receiving a Herbs gift upon departure.
Location

The hotel is right on Petchakasem Road, a bit far from the lively part of Hua Hin. While I didn't mind the distance, it might be a downside for those wanting immediate access to nightlife.

Breakfast was included at the sister hotel, which had nice offerings. However, I found the options not as satisfying as I hoped.

The plunge pool with ocean views was a good feature. but it can fill up quickly since the space is limited, so getting there early is key.

My stay at Herbs Hotel was a mixed bag. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and cozy, which I really appreciated. However, the location was quite poor, being a bit far from the city center and more on a busy street than I would have liked. Overall, I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, but felt disappointed with some aspects given the price I paid.

The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and clean, offering a cozy atmosphere. It had a lovely style, which added to my enjoyment, though I found it a bit on the small side.
Service

The service was terrific, with the staff always smiling and ready to help. They even arranged a scooter and a pickup for me, which made my stay more convenient.
Location

Unfortunately, the location was not ideal. It was a bit far from Hua Hin city center and situated on a busy road, which made accessing the beach or shops a bit of a hassle.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were limited; I couldn't find food for dinner as the chef had already left for the day. Breakfast was decent, but it didn't really meet my expectations given the hotel's offerings.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had basic facilities but nothing particularly impressive. Although it felt peaceful, I found the swimming pool area to be small and not very inviting.

I had a mixed experience at The Herbs Hotel Hua Hin. While the friendly staff made me feel at home and the sea view from my room was beautiful, the hotel itself felt quite tired and in desperate need of updates. The rooms have a unique herb theme, but I encountered some issues like dust and a dangerous stairway to the bathroom. Overall, I appreciated the service, but would recommend improvements for a better experience. 🌊💼

My room had a lovely sea view, but the stairs to the bathroom were dangerously steep and could be challenging at night. It also had some dust upon check-in.
Service

The hotel staff were incredibly attentive, genuinely caring for guests and even rode their motorbikes to help us get to our van on time.
Location

Situated on Petchakasem Road, the hotel is a fair distance from nightlife and activities, making it feel quite secluded. It’s right by the beach, but I found it a bit far from the town center.
Dining

I enjoyed breakfast at the sister hotel, Herbs by the Sea, but it was a simple affair. There are some local cafes nearby, though prices can be a bit high.
Facilities

The plunge pool area was nice, but very small and limited in space, which made it feel crowded at times.

I had a pleasant stay at The Herbs Hotel Hua Hin, a charming boutique hotel with a unique herbal theme in each room. While the location is somewhat distant from the bustling city center and the beach, I found the quiet atmosphere quite peaceful. The staff provided excellent service, although the shared bathroom setup in my initial room was a bit inconvenient.

I stayed in the Ginger room first, which was clean and cozy, though it had shared facilities. I then upgraded to the Plai Thai room, which was fantastic and well-kept.
Service

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, even helping us with local transport and suggesting upgrades to make our stay more enjoyable.
Location

While the hotel is located on a busy highway and a bit far from the nightlife, I appreciated the nearby dining options and found it easy to navigate to Hua Hin's attractions.
Dining

Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, being a la carte and not far from the hotel. I enjoyed having the flexibility to request more if needed.
Facilities

The plunge pool is small but offers beautiful views of the sea, and I appreciated having access to sun loungers. The dining space is functional but could be better arranged.

I had a quiet stay at The Herbs Hotel in Hua Hin, which is not too far from the city center, but honestly, the hotel needs some updates. The rooms were clean and offered basic amenities, but the environment felt a bit worn out. The service was super welcoming, though, and I appreciated the effort to make me feel at home.

Rooms
6.0
My room was clean but a bit small, definitely not luxurious. The layout had a strange three-step stairway leading to the bathroom, which felt dangerous at night.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and did their best to help me feel comfortable during my stay. They even arranged a scooter for me to get around.
Location

The hotel is right on the busy Petchakasem Road, which makes it easier to find but is quite a distance from the nightlife and main attractions. It’s peaceful but a bit far.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was served a la carte, and you could request more if you were still hungry. There are some decent restaurants nearby as well.
Facilities
5.0
The pool is small and situated in front of the dining area, which I didn't care for much. The hotel could use some renovations to improve the overall experience.
